Iconic Worcestershire Sauce: Attributed to the nobleman Lord Sandys who on returning from Bengal, India commissioned a local apothecary to recreate the sauce he was so desirous of! The owners of the apothecary store? A Mr John Lea and a Mr William Perrins, the rest is history.
Used in everything from Welsh Rarebit to a Bloody Mary; a bottle of Lee & Perrins is an essential in every store cupboard.
Lea & Perrins® Worcestershire Sauce is gluten free. Does not contain any peanuts, tree-nuts, or nut oil of any type. Not suitable for vegetarians - contains anchovies.
